OTTAWA – The Canadian Forum on Public Education will gather over 160 educators, mental health advocates, school counsellors and psychotherapists, school board and government representatives to examine the wellbeing of Canadian schools July 11-12 in Montréal.
The Canadian Forum on Public Education (CFPE) — Wellness in our school: Time to act! organized by the Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF) aims to identify some of the wellness challenges that exist in our public schools, and examine ways to address these challenges collectively. Over two days, participants will examine issues related to wellness in our schools including:
- Mental Health and Stigma
- Technology-Related Stress
- Teacher Wellness
- Student Wellness
- Perspectives on Stress: Language, Sexual Identity, Indigenous
