DESCRIPTION:\nThe 2024 CTF/FCE Women’s Symposium, co-hosted by the New Brunswick Teachers’ Association, takes place June 2–4 in Fredericton. \n\n\n\nIn an ever-changing, fast-paced world, women play a crucial role as agents of change. This year’s Symposium theme, “Unite, Inspire, Uplift!”, recognizes the unique, lived experiences of women, and the obstacles they face, particularly in education. Participants will engage in learning with the “whys” and the “hows” around topics such as: building allyships and networks, pathways and presence in leadership, and understanding elements of empowerment. Networking and engagement will underscore our time together and participants will leave with many valuable takeaways.\n\n\n\n\nUnite: Building Allyships and Networks of Support\n\n\n\nInspire: Pathways and Presence in Leadership\n\n\n\nUplift: Elements of Empowerment\n\n\n\n\nThe CTF/FCE Women’s Symposium brings together members, staff, and leaders from our Member and Associate Organizations, to discuss relevant issues that will educate and inspire. This event provides a unique opportunity for participants to unite and engage in discussions on what empowers women’s advancement.
