Gail is a partner with Pink Larkin in Halifax. She practices labour, employment and human rights law. Gail is lead counsel in the Nova Scotia Teachers Union Charter challenge to Bill 75, which imposed a collective agreement on teachers and ended their strike action.
She also represents the eight unions challenging the constitutionality of wage restraint legislation imposed on public sector workers in Nova Scotia. Gail is a Nova Scotia Human Rights Board of Inquiry Chair.
She is also the President of the Canadian Bar Association – Nova Scotia Branch and Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association National Labour & Employment Law Section.
