News Conference Advisory: Education should be on the G8/G20 agenda, urge Education International and Canadian Teachers’ Federation

Ottawa….Education International and the Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF) will hold a joint news conference tomorrow to urge the Prime Minister of Canada and governments to include education on the agenda of the G8 and G20.
CTF speaks for nearly 200,000 teachers in Canada as the national voice on education and related social issues. CTF membership includes Member organizations in provinces and territories in Canada as well as an Affiliate Member in Ontario. CTF is also a member of the international body of teachers, Education International which is based in Brussels, Belgium.
