EDMONTON…. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF) begins today at 4:30 p.m. bringing together over 100 teacher leaders from across the country to map out the federation’s priority work, to adopt a budget and elect a President-Designate and Vice-Presidents. This will be H. Mark Ramsankar’s first AGM as CTF President. Ramsankar is also Past President of The Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA).
CTF AGM delegates will also celebrate the ATA’s 100th anniversary. The CTF AGM is the Federation’s business meeting and should not be confused with the Canadian Forum on Public Education which was held earlier this week.
