Il ne fait aucun doute que la notion d\u2019\u00e9cole s\u00e9curitaire transcende les questions linguistiques\u00a0: tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves doivent se sentir en <em>s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/em>, en tout temps. Sur ce plan, les \u00e9coles, qu\u2019elles dispensent l\u2019enseignement en anglais ou en fran\u00e7ais, vivent donc sensiblement les m\u00eames r\u00e9alit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les \u00e9coles de langue fran\u00e7aise en contexte minoritaire canadien, la <em>bienveillance<\/em> comporte cependant une dimension qui lui est bien particuli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle plan\u00e9taire, nous vivons une p\u00e9riode de grands bouleversements politiques qui s\u2019accompagnent d\u2019un climat social inqui\u00e9tant. Les minorit\u00e9s, en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, sont une cible facile quand il s\u2019agit de sabrer dans les d\u00e9penses puisque leur voix a souvent moins de poids aupr\u00e8s des \u00e9lus. Or, les communaut\u00e9s francophones minoritaires canadiennes vivent depuis les derni\u00e8res semaines une s\u00e9rie d\u2019attaques[1] qui donnent raison \u00e0 ceux qui mart\u00e8lent qu\u2019il ne faut jamais rien tenir pour acquis en francophonie.<\/p>\n<p>Et la <em>bienveillance<\/em> dans tout \u00e7a? Quand il s\u2019agit du personnel enseignant des \u00e9coles de langue fran\u00e7aise, vouloir le bien de ses \u00e9l\u00e8ves d\u00e9passe largement le cadre scolaire. Vouloir le bien de ses \u00e9l\u00e8ves, c\u2019est vouloir leur assurer toutes les chances de vivre en fran\u00e7ais au-del\u00e0 des fronti\u00e8res de la cour de r\u00e9cr\u00e9ation et au-del\u00e0 du dipl\u00f4me de fin d\u2019\u00e9tudes secondaires. C\u2019est aussi souhaiter pour eux un avenir o\u00f9 ils vivront fi\u00e8rement cette culture dans laquelle ils ont baign\u00e9 pendant toutes ces ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le double mandat de l\u2019\u00e9ducation en fran\u00e7ais dont il est souvent question prend tout son sens dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 actuelle. Au-del\u00e0 de la mission \u00e9ducative des \u00e9coles, aucun membre du personnel enseignant des \u00e9coles franco-ontariennes ne peut rester indiff\u00e9rent aux reculs qu\u2019on tente d\u2019imposer \u00e0 sa communaut\u00e9 et aux cons\u00e9quences que ces d\u00e9cisions auront pour les prochaines g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, celles de leurs \u00e9l\u00e8ves.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est ainsi que le personnel enseignant des \u00e9coles de langue fran\u00e7aise s\u2019est retrouv\u00e9 \u00e0 devoir expliquer \u00e0 ses \u00e9l\u00e8ves une dure r\u00e9alit\u00e9, animer des discussions d\u00e9licates sur l\u2019avenir de la communaut\u00e9 francophone et, par un samedi de d\u00e9cembre frisquet, brandir sa pancarte lors d\u2019une manifestation de solidarit\u00e9. Tout \u00e7a, bien entendu, en faisant appel \u00e0 son c\u0153ur beaucoup plus qu\u2019au programme d\u2019\u00e9tudes.<\/p>\n<p>Par <em>bienveillance<\/em>, le personnel des \u00e9coles de langue fran\u00e7aise prend position sur une question de survivance. Nous ne sommes pas si loin de la bataille des \u00e9pingles \u00e0 chapeaux[2]. Si l\u2019histoire se r\u00e9p\u00e8te, elle semble se r\u00e9p\u00e9ter plus souvent en fran\u00e7ais.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">[1]\u00a0Parmi les principales attaques, on note que le gouvernement Ford de l\u2019Ontario a aboli le Commissariat aux services en fran\u00e7ais et le projet d\u2019une universit\u00e9 de langue fran\u00e7aise. Le Nouveau-Brunswick vit de nouvelles tensions linguistiques depuis l\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019un nouveau gouvernement, tandis que le Qu\u00e9bec r\u00e9vise de fa\u00e7on maladroite la gestion du Centre de la francophonie des Am\u00e9riques, organisme d\u2019appui aux communaut\u00e9s minoritaires francophones.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #999999;\">[2] En 1916, des m\u00e8res d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves de l\u2019\u00c9cole Guigues d\u2019Ottawa ont d\u00e9fendu l\u2019enseignement en fran\u00e7ais face \u00e0 des policiers au moyen d\u2019\u00e9pingles \u00e0 chapeaux.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-890 size-thumbnail alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/perspectives-ctf-fce.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Perspectives-29_Author_RBoudreau-1-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Ronald Boudreau est l&rsquo;ancien directeur du Programme pour la francophonie de la FCE-CTF.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le th\u00e8me de ce num\u00e9ro de Perspectives est \u00ab\u00a0Des \u00e9coles s\u00e9curitaires et bienveillantes\u00a0\u00bb.
