2024 Women’s Symposium

2024 Women’s Symposium

The 2024 CTF/FCE Women’s Symposium, co-hosted by the New Brunswick Teachers’ Association, takes place June 2–4 in Fredericton.

In an ever-changing, fast-paced world, women play a crucial role as agents of change. This year’s Symposium theme, “Unite, Inspire, Uplift!”, recognizes the unique, lived experiences of women, and the obstacles they face, particularly in education. Participants will engage in learning with the “whys” and the “hows” around topics such as: building allyships and networks, pathways and presence in leadership, and understanding elements of empowerment. Networking and engagement will underscore our time together and participants will leave with many valuable takeaways.

  • Unite: Building Allyships and Networks of Support
  • Inspire: Pathways and Presence in Leadership
  • Uplift: Elements of Empowerment

The CTF/FCE Women’s Symposium brings together members, staff, and leaders from our Member and Associate Organizations, to discuss relevant issues that will educate and inspire. This event provides a unique opportunity for participants to unite and engage in discussions on what empowers women’s advancement. Attendees will be inspired by the wisdom and stories of the numerous speakers and guests, as well as from each other, and all will gain the knowledge needed to uplift each other and make fundamental progress in the education sector and in society.

The Women’s Symposium is open to members who identify as women.
