CTF/FCE National Staff Conference (NSC)

Theme: Turning Insight into Action
The CTF/FCE National Staff Conference brings together staff from Member and Associate Organizations for two and a half days of professional learning, collaboration, and networking. Guided by the theme “Turning Insight into Action”, this year’s conference will provide opportunities to reflect on emerging issues, share expertise, and transform knowledge into meaningful action that strengthens our organizations, supports members, and advances public education.
Through engaging sessions, dialogue, and collaborative learning, participants will:
- Share strategies, tools, and promising practices;
- Strengthen collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the federation;
- Explore emerging issues affecting teachers, unions, and public education;
- Identify practical actions and innovative approaches to address common challenges;
- Build relationships that enhance our collective capacity to advocate for and defend quality public education.
As staff professionals, we play a critical role in helping our organizations respond to complex challenges and emerging opportunities. This conference is an opportunity to move beyond discussion, transforming insights into practical strategies, stronger partnerships, and collective action.

Registration
Registration will open from September 24 to November 9, 2026. The National Staff Conference registration includes access to all plenary, carousel sessions as well as all meals hosted during the Conference. View CTF/FCE’s Cancellation Policy.
- Early-bird (deadline October 23, 2026): $600 (plus taxes)
- Regular (deadline November 9, 2026): $650 (plus taxes)
Hotel Information
The Delta Hotel Ottawa City Centre is holding a block of rooms at a group rate of $279 (traditional room) to $299 (deluxe room) per night. The group rate is available until Thursday, October 15, 2026 (17:00 ET). Room availability and group savings will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to book at your earliest convenience.
