Teacher Collective Bargaining Conference

Agenda

Teacher Collective Bargaining Conference

Welcome to the 2022 CTF/FCE Teacher Collective Bargaining Conference (TCBC) held February 27 through March 1 in collaboration with the Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers (QPAT).

The pandemic has had a profound impact on public education, exposing inequalities for teachers and education workers and raising other major issues that need to be addressed through collective bargaining.

Under the theme “Breaking Waves – Protéger le système, we invite teacher negotiators and Teachers’ Bargaining Network members from across the country to join us to reconnect and discuss the following key bargaining issues:

  • Distance learning,
  • Preparing for arbitration,
  • Legislative interference in bargaining,
  • Francophone educators shortage,
  • Workload and mental health.

We hope that many of you will attend in person to benefit from learning opportunities, networking with colleagues and building valuable relationships, all needed to support our organizations, our profession, and, most importantly, publicly funded public education.

We look forward to welcoming you to Montréal in February!
