2025 National Staff Conference
CTF/FCE National Staff Conference
November 19–21, 2025 | Ottawa, Ontario
Theme: Mapping the Way
The CTF/FCE National Staff Conference unites staff from Member and Associate Organizations for two and a half days of professional development, collaboration, and networking. Guided by the theme “Mapping the Way”, the Conference reinforces connections across regions and departments to build long-term collaboration and strengthen our advocacy efforts and collective action in defense of public education.
Participants will engage in dialogue and practical learning to:
- Support Members through shared strategies and tools;
- Amplify our collective voice for teachers and public education in Canada and beyond;
- Address emerging challenges and solutions;
- Build stronger connections and collaborations that empower us to work more effectively together.
This year’s program will also explore key issues shaping our work as staff:
- Artificial Intelligence and Education – risks, impacts, and how staff encounter these tools in daily roles;
- Retention and Recruitment – challenges and promising practices to sustain the profession;
- Violence in Schools – impacts on educators and communities, and union strategies for safer schools.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from seasoned speakers and connect with colleagues from across Canada to exchange ideas, share innovations, and map the way forward for the future of public education.
